last thing anyone wants to hear right
now is someone telling them that they
can make money on the Internet. You
have heard every get rich quick scheme.
Had many people from multi-level marketing
companies in your face trying to get
you to join their organization. After
you spent a few hundred bucks and find
out that its not as easy as you thought,
you swear to yourself that you will
never go into anything that remotely
resembles self employment.

I have some news for you. This is not
that type of book. As someone who has
probably read over 100 Internet
business books that have come across
the shelves, I can say that Internet

is by far the best book written for
non computer people that are looking
to earn some extra cash by starting
a web based business. And you can get
started for less than $25 !
Scott
Foxx, author, has done his homework
on web business. He is the creative
mind behind Bill O'Reilly.com and SweaterBabe.com,
his wifes hobby business. Foxx goes
beyond the hype to layout a simple framework
that becomes the easiest business plan
that I have seen: ICICLE . I won't tell
you what that means ( you will have
to read the book to find out ) .
Unlike
many Internet business books and overnight
online gurus, he doesn't get you to
push anyones products but leads you
through a process to discover your own
Niche business based on your hobbies
and interests. Once discovered, he gives
you tools and resources that can have
your business up in one afternoon wihthout
having to learn any web programming.
You will also learn how to take credit
cards even if your credit is jacked
up.
Internet
Riches is filled with real world examples
of people just like you. He doesn't
limit the book to unique products but
expands into information businesses
[ e-books, webinars, etc. ]. So you
will definitely find a wealth of information
that will enable you to get your plan
on paper and website online.
His
techniques have also helped me get the
strategy to re-launch Diesel after a
multi-year haitus. At the end of the
book, he gives strategies for marketing
if you have no budget to a professional
budget. He does give some information
on pay per click advertising through
google adwords but I suggest that you
get a book written on the subject before
you take your hard earned money and
start running ads.

Riches isn't for those already running
online businesses unless you are going
through a dry spell and need to take
a fresh look at your approach in order
to generate some revenue. But if you
are new to the world of the web and
want to get started then this is the
book that you will need to read and
keep in your treasure chest.
He
has recently written a follow up book
that gives instruction on marketing
in the web 2.0 world. I will read it
and report back to you. If it is anything
like Internet
Riches,
he will be mentioned in the same sentence
as the Gurus of Marketing , Al Ries
and Jack Trout.
I
strongly recommend everyone to purchase
the book because as Scott Foxx demonstrates,
anyone with a hobby or idea can turn
it into a profitable business.
