How to Save Money at Sizzle
Memorial Day Weekend in Miami has become the nation's largest party thanks to one event: SIZZLE ! A concept to bring hot brothers to the hottest city paid off. Known as Miami Black Pride by many [ although not endorsed by the IFBP ] , SIZZLE has is home to world class parties, workshops and stars that flock to Miami to perform for Black Gay Men. Sizzle has the second largest number of attendees in the black gay community. If you want to see body boys, this is mecca.If you are looking for discount accomodations then you won't find them with the event organizers.
Miami is one of a few cities that have high hotel rates year round. Less expensive than New York but still a great deal of money for brothers who come from places that boasts great value for under $80. This was our mission and we found a way to get you discount hotel rooms and offer some tips that will allow you to enjoy the weekend without burning a hole in your wallet.
Book a Package
The easiest way to avoid pay $134 or higher per night for a room at the official host hotel is to book a package on Priceline or Expedia. You gain by combining the hotel and airfare together to save at least 50% off the top. These savings can be directed to food and drinks because there are many places to enjoy cheap eats. When choosing a package, always choose a hotel near the airport. The airport area in miami is about 4 - 8 miles away from downtown. Rent a car because you will need transportation to get around.
Don't buy the Party Pass
In other articles, I suggested to buy the party pass for events in order to save money but after looking at SIZZLE's prices for their event pass, you can do much better. Don't get me wrong, there will be a few events that you must attend. Simply pay the $20 admission and enjoy. But when it costs over $150 to party then we have an issue in Houston. We suggest going to other clubs in the Miami area that will have parties with the same hot men for less. We will post events as they become available.
Good Hotel Picks
We have searched the web to find a few hotels that can save you over $100 off of the official SIZZLE MIAMI Hotel rate. The La Quinta Inn Miami Airport North is a great choice. You enjoy a free breakfast, wireless internet, parking, newspaper and local calls. They also have a shuttle from the airport to get you to the hotel without breaking the bank for the Super Shuttle. Rooms are selling at $62. Our next pick is the Days Inn Miami Airport International. This comfy hotel provides a free shuttle , high speed internet and pool. The rooms are spacious and relaxing. At the time of this article, rooms are available for $59.95 !
It Doesn’t Cost Much
Miami is not the cheapest city to vacation during a major holiday weekend but you can find values when you know where to look. Partying a la carte, using package deals and searching for value will enable you to have an amazing holiday. Keep posted because we will have more events and information as the date nears.
